Recipe: Windowpane Chocolates

By Alexandra Wenger ‘21

Are you in the mood for a recipe to take your mind off of the dozens of tests you have? Perhaps you’ve got a unit exam coming up and you need some mini chocolate snacks to stresseat the night before? Even if you’re feeling completely relaxed, these tiny windowpane treats are perfect to satiate the chocolate monster inside all of us!

One bag windowpane-shaped pretzels (I use Snyder’s butter snaps)

One large bag Hershey’s Kisses

One bag M&M’S, or other button shaped chocolates

Pour out the bag of pretzels and lay as many as possible flat on two baking sheets. Unwrap Hershey’s Kisses and place one in the center of each pretzel. Since they cook very quickly, put one baking sheet in the oven at 350 degrees for two minutes. Remove and carefully press one M&M onto the top of the Hershey’s Kisses. Repeat with second tray. Let cool before munching.
